Ever have one of those times when words feel trivial and insignificant?
I didn't title my post today because I just didn't feel like there were any words good enough to describe it.
About a year ago a new couple start coming to our young adults group.........we have gotten to know them since then and love them dearly. J&S and their daughter (who is five and a half months old) were originally from the Maritimes and came here for work. Joe recently lost his job and after months searching got a interview back home. Sarah left by plane with the baby and Joe with their car last Thursday.
This morning we got the news that Joe was killed after he fell asleep at the wheel on Sunday night somewhere in Ontario. He was just 22 years old.
I can't really say much else but please pray. Pray for comfort and peace and strength and for Joe's family to be drawn into the Father at this time.
I spoke with Sarah who is drawing totally on God and was telling me about how Joe is probably talking God's ear off with questions.
Thanks, blogger friends, for reading and listening and praying. I love you.

I am so sorry for the loss of your friend, and for Sarah and her daughter's loss. I have added them to our "prayer jar" here at Focus on the Family. They will be specifically prayed for by someone every weekday for a month. This is one of a woman's worst nightmares; I will be praying, too.

You are right....words fail me. I am so sorry for Sarah's loss...I know God is sovereign over all but I struggle to understand.

It's been a very sad day indeed. Although I do smile at the thought of Joe talking God's ear off with questions. I can totally see him doing that.
What a sweet picture of Aylah. Thanks for posting Christy.
