No time like the present, right? So we thought we'd try Denay on some rice cereal and see how it goes. Turns out, she doesn't mind it. She was a little confused and kept pushing the cereal out with her tongue but we got most of it down.
I have to admit, it was a little strange feeding her something other than, well, me. It made her seem like such a big girl! She slept through the night on Monday (PTL) but then last night, she ate the whole bowl and nursed and was up three hours later at 1:30. What that was all about I do not know but all in all our test run went well and she is really starting to get the hang of it. It's hard to believe that she is almost five months old already. I know all parents say that but it's true, time flies! We took a fantastic video of her the other night, but, true to my luck, Blogger won't let me load it :) I'll keep trying.......Until next time.....

What a big girl she is, and yes it's true time flies...but it's all so fun once they start doing these things!
